DESCRIPTION:
A 3-band shank made out of 18K solid yellow gold complements the ring's 3-tier face made out of 18K solid white gold of this gorgeous ring and, together, they form the base for 16 natural rose-cut diamonds. The 16 diamonds are set to enhance the center stone which is a beautiful old mine cut diamond of very good clarity and colorless. But this description says very little until you take a look at the elegant and solid craftsmanship that went into making this gorgeous ring (take a look at the photo showing the underside of the face of the ring). That three-tier design makes the ring stand a good 1cm off the finger.

Large enough to be a cocktail ring (it measures 16 x 13 millimeters), it can easily be given to a chosen one as a sign of lasting engagement.

The three-band shank means that we cannot recommend resizing this ring which is of impeccable condition.

*Information on gold jewelry:

- 24K gold is pure gold. (it is not really used in jewellery because it is too soft and not practical for daily wear.)
-18K gold contains 18 parts gold and 6 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 75% gold. This level of fineness is used extensively in French and Italian jewelry and in most quality pieces)
-14K gold contains 14 parts gold and 10 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 58.3% gold. (It is used extensively in the US)
-12K gold contains 12 parts gold and 12 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 50% gold.
-10K gold contains 10 parts gold and 14 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 41.7% gold. 10K gold is the minimum standard that can be called "gold" in the United States.
Antique jewelry and rare items often contain the lower level of fineness, but their value is based on a myriad of other factors.
