This brooch is smashing! The quality of the diamonds are second to none! They even sparkle way across the room. The brooch reveals all the glamorous qualities that white gold and diamond feature. It belongs to a celebrated period in art history - The Art Déco --

The Art Déco period derives its name from the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925. It features a typical geometric pattern of delicate milgrain filigree work interspersed with glittering diamonds. This stylized design forms the basis of myriad sparkling diamonds, ranging between F - H, and clarity VS1 - SI. The natural diamonds are a combination of old cut and single cut, and send flashes of brilliance along the full color spectrum. They add up to close to 1.75cttw, with the largest one ~0.35ct.

The brooch is entirely set in 750/100 white gold and the pin is made out of 18K solid yellow gold. Closure is accomplished with a push-type mechanism (trombone) that is working perfectly. In fact, the entire brooch is in excellent condition.
Wearing this brooch not only reveals a certain appreciation for the history of jewelry but, since it is so beautiful, it also points to a definite aesthetic sensitivity.
