DESCRIPTION:
This ring is striking. Made out of 18K solid gold and platinum, it is massive but, yet, feels comfortable on the finger. Its elevated high relief dome with beads and buttresses is supporting an absolutely stunning brilliant cut diamond weighing approximately 0.25ct. Color and clarity have reached perfection in the hands of the stone cutter (H-VVS1). This is a glamorous cocktail ring from the Retro period. Its architecture is a three dimensional work of art, sitting up a dramatic 12mm off the finger. Due to its small size, it can adequately be worn on a small finger. This ring is an invitation to boldness!

*Information on gold jewelry:

- 24K gold is pure gold. (it is not really used in jewellery because it is too soft and not practical for daily wear.)
-18K gold contains 18 parts gold and 6 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 75% gold. This level of fineness is used extensively in French and Italian jewelry and in most quality pieces)
-14K gold contains 14 parts gold and 10 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 58.3% gold. (It is used extensively in the US)
-12K gold contains 12 parts gold and 12 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 50% gold.
-10K gold contains 10 parts gold and 14 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 41.7% gold. 10K gold is the minimum standard that can be called "gold" in the United States.
Antique jewelry and rare items often contain the lower level of fineness, but their value is based on a myriad of other factors.
