DESCRIPTION:
This elegant necklace is made out of 18K solid gold. It features a fixed pendant representing a double V. Many different meanings can be attributed to the figure of a double V, one of which is inverted, some masonic (compass and square), other feminine (man and woman), you may choose whichever interpretation strikes you fancy. We prefer to concentrate on the tasteful presentation of of 12 sparking brilliant-cut diamonds and on the extraordinary geometrical links which make up this super smooth and flexible necklace.

This very well-made Italian crafted necklace is not only stamped with the owl assay mark, but it is signed and numbered as well.

It terminates with a solid and heavy fold over lock clasp and a security eight for a worry free wear in perfect working order.

This stupendous vintage piece is in excellent condition showing no nicks nor dents.

*Information on gold jewelry:

- 24K gold is pure gold. (it is not really used in jewellery because it is too soft and not practical for daily wear.)
-18K gold contains 18 parts gold and 6 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 75% gold. This level of fineness is used extensively in French and Italian jewelry and in most quality pieces)
-14K gold contains 14 parts gold and 10 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 58.3% gold. (It is used extensively in the US)
-12K gold contains 12 parts gold and 12 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 50% gold.
-10K gold contains 10 parts gold and 14 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 41.7% gold. 10K gold is the minimum standard that can be called "gold" in the United States.
Antique jewelry and rare items often contain the lower level of fineness, but their value is based on a myriad of other factors.
