This elegant and genuine Art Nouveau navette ring is crafted in 18K solid gold and platinum. The graceful filigree setting features an original five sections face with a center sapphire. This natural sapphire becomes the main focus, in both color and size, of the design. The faceted sapphire is natural, i.e., not lab created), and weighs approximately 0.60 carats. It is in very good condition, showing only a few micro surface scratches not visible without a 10X loupe. It is enhanced by 16 quality rose-cut diamonds. None of the gemstones are missing.

*Information on gold jewelry:

- 24K gold is pure gold. (it is not really used in jewellery because it is too soft and not practical for daily wear.)
-18K gold contains 18 parts gold and 6 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 75% gold. This level of fineness is used extensively in French and Italian jewelry and in most quality pieces)
-14K gold contains 14 parts gold and 10 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 58.3% gold. (It is used extensively in the US)
-12K gold contains 12 parts gold and 12 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 50% gold.
-10K gold contains 10 parts gold and 14 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 41.7% gold. 10K gold is the minimum standard that can be called "gold" in the United States.
Antique jewelry and rare items often contain the lower level of fineness, but their value is based on a myriad of other factors.
